Coven

An assembly of witches who gather to cast powerful spells and make strong potions.  The optimal number of witches for a coven is thirteen. The number thirteen is lucky because it cannot be divided against itself (1). Covens operate independent from one another but are affiliated via a Grand Master (2).

New members receive a set of tenets or laws drafted for the purpose of maintaining order (1).
