What is a Cast Circle?

A cast circle also called a conjuration circle is a magically protected area. It seals the magician off from space and time, preventing a conjured spirit or demon from breaching the circle while allowing the magician to exert control over it.

The body of Margaret Jensen was removed from the offices of Excel Technology by the coroner. Her coworkers said she had been unsteady on her feet, slurring her words and acting confused all morning. They assumed that she was intoxicated. Margaret had never been drunk at work before, but she had always acted a little "off"; always telling them that she was a practicing witch. She even wore a pentagram on a chain around her neck. There had been a mark around the back of her neck, which indicated it was ripped from her neck.
