Dylan dragged out the biggest suitcase and pulled it into the kitchen. Dylan stood back and gazed at the body contemplatively. the suitcase looked alot smaller next to it. Dylan wondered if it was too small. ah well, he would just have to make her fit. he didn’t have anything bigger. dylan sank down onto his knees. careful not to kneel in the blood pool, he grasped rhonda by the shouldERS and recoiled. She was stone cold and rigid. rigor mortis had set in.
desperate, dylan grunted with the effort to force her unyielding flesh to bend. He sighed annoyedly, cursing under his breath. fear that he would not be able to get her out of his apartment, before those cops came back was panic inducing. even in death, rhonda was a pain in the ass. DYLAN LAUGHED MIRTHLESSLY. suddenly seized by hysteria, he couldn’t seem to stop himself until tears poured from his eyes. dylan let out a bellow of frustration and grabbed her again, wrestling with her until there was a sickening crack and her body yielded.
thirty minutes later, wet with sweat and hands slick with blood Dylan had folded rhonda into the suitcase. dylan ROSE on stiff legs AND staggered to the kitchen sink, anxious to wash his hands. he was dizzy and more than a little nauseated by the pungent smell of congealed blood. sweat on his brow dripped down and stung his eyes. dylan raised an arm to swipe at it and was halted by the sight of her blood staining his sleeve.
he felt his gorge rising. dylan made his way to the living room window, pushed it open, leaned out and gulped the fresh air. He closed his eyes, wanting to forget the horror waiting for him in the kitCHEN. what the hell was he going to do with two dead bodies? rosa was probably already beginning to smell. he couldn’t leave her downstairs in storage much longer. the bodies hadto be moved someplace where no one would find them, at least not until he was far away.
blaring car horns intruded on his anxious ruminations. dylan opened his eyes and looked down at the street in front of his apartment building. a moving van had parked at an angle that obstructed the flow of traffic. dylan was absentmidedly watching two men struggle to unload a long sectional sofa when inspiration hit. He would rent a moving van! no one would suspect that there were two bodies concealed among all of the boxes.
